Ever secretly wish to be snowed in so you can have an excuse to relax and sit by a warm fire with a beer and some good company? Sleeping Elephant is the kind of beer to fit such an occasion. Named after the mountain located in the Poudre Canyon west of Fort Collins, Sleeping Elephant is a darker ale that has a rich, chocolaty and malty backbone with a sliver of roasted flavor that finishes dry. It then balances out with just the right amount of hops so that it truly warms and delivers a comforting feeling to you on those cold days.
