A refreshing and sessionable sour ale, Simcoe Weisse is a true new meets old beer where tartness joins together.
Small in stature, and enormous in character, Simcoe Weisse is a Fieldwork-style Berliner weisse that has a bit of a Napoleon Complex. Upfront aromas of sweet fruits, cantaloupe, and passion fruit slowly give way as it splashes across the palate. A quick jolt of sourness wakes up the palate like an alarm clock that you forgot you set. Melding perfectly with the fruity aroma and the tart acidity is an bright and refreshing lemon-lime note that lingers gently as a hint of salivation pleads for you to take another sip.
