Inspired by dark lagers from Czech, America, and Germany, this beer uses a blend of ingredients from these 3 nations and has a slightly different character depending upon what frame of reference you view it with. The firm hoppy character is an American inspiration while the touch of caramel sweetness is more Czech inspired. Yet it’s the German yeast and roasted malts that really make this a Schwarzbier at heart.
