Beer Description
J-Valve Amber/Pale Ale with Juniper Berries is an experimental brew designed to be a harmonious combination of hop, malt and juniper berry flavors.
We used hearty amounts of Munich malt and toasted malts in conjunction with English and American hops. We even added dried juniper berries to the boil to enhance the pine and earth flavors. This beer starts with toasted malt and caramel flavors and finishes with a citrus and earthy hop backbone. Aromas of toasted bread, pine needles and juniper berries hover in the glass. Ultimately, this brew is a great balance of eclectic flavors.
