Beer Description
From Castro’s Havana to 3F’s headquarters, the red flour Fat Cats their own cake. For the cake goes best with malty and not too bitter beer with a fruity aroma.
When Fat Cat was brewed I was looking for a distinctive hop could play against the caramel-like malt profile and when Nelson Sauvin was one of the only types of hops at the time that could be obtained fresh from the 2008 harvest, the choice was not difficult for me in 2006 in Helsinki beer Festival had tasted a beer hoppy 100% with this hop. The malt used is a mixture of British Maris Otter and German münchenermalt with caramel malt, husked chocolate malt and raw barley from Sealand cool soil.
The Fat Cat while keeping moderate 4.7% alcohol makes you usefully can enjoy a few pints without going completely cold.
