Beer Description
The Belgian colonial state in the Congo was often referred to by locals as “Bula Matari,” meaning “Break Rocks.” To pave their way through the lower Congo, the Belgians used dynamite to crush rocks, thus earning them this nickname which came to signify the irresistible and compelling force of the new colonial state. This well balanced black ale is hopped with Nugget and Willamette and is perfect for those prolonged sessions.
