Beer Description
For this American India Pale Ale, we brewed with one malt – American 2-row barley – and one hop – 007: The Golden Hop.
The shorthand for this style of IPA is a “SMaSH IPA”, or “Single Malt and Single Hop IPA”. Pale yellow in color, this beer showcases crisp, clean malt flavors and approachable hop nuances. 007 is a dual-purpose hop, formerly known as the Idaho 7 hop. Complex fruity aromas of orange and apricot mesh with hints of black tea-like character and a pleasant fresh herbal bouquet. The beer finishes crisp but also has a lingering hop finish.
