Dubbed the ‘Champagne of the north’ by Napolean and the ‘workers’ sparkling wine’ by Berliners themselves, one thing is certain: this is one of the most refreshing summertime beer styles ever created. Acidified with Lactobacillus and fermented with Saccharomyces & Brettanomyces, this beer should develop more complexity in the bottle over time.
