Beer Description
This is our take on the gruit, an ancient-style beer brewed without hops that tends to emphasize a region’s local herbs and terroir. Instead of balancing and flavoring the brew with a typical hop combo, we use fresh lemon peel and dandelion greens (which you can find at your local farmer’s market, natural grocer or own backyard) along with black peppercorns and white wheat (both included in the mix) to create something a little spicy, a little tart and totally herbaceous.
