This light golden beer is a modern twist on the pre-prohibition style of cream ale, bigger and hoppier, but with the light body and crisp finish of cream ales. We use both corn and sugar to lighten the malt flavor profile, and Simcoe hops in the kettle
This light golden beer is a modern twist on the pre-prohibition style of cream ale, bigger and hoppier, but with the light body and crisp finish of cream ales. We use both corn and sugar to lighten the malt flavor profile, and Simcoe hops in the kettle for bittering. Councill’s Store was the first commercial entity in what later became the Town of Boone, NC, and our front door is close to where Council’s Store was located.3
