Beer Description
For this American India Pale Ale, we brewed with one malt – American 2-row barley – and one hop – Simcoe. This beer is smooth with a clean bitter hop finish.
The shorthand for this style of IPA is a “SMaSH IPA”, or “Single Malt and Single Hop IPA”. Pale yellow in color, this beer showcases crisp, clean malt flavors and approachable hop nuances. Simcoe is a dual-purpose hop, with aromas of passion fruit, pine, berry and earth, and pine and citrus flavors.
