Beer Description
When we brewed this beer the first time, we stuck a thermometer in the mash to measure the temperature and with all the oatmeal- the mash was so thick that the thermometer didn’t sink- it stuck straight up. A minute later when we weren’t looking the mash swallowed the thermometer up like Quicksand and the name was born. Luckily it wasn’t a mercury thermometer… and it tasted great!
