Beer Description
Welcome to outerbeerspace!! Utilizing primarily Galaxy hops, this beer is fresh, hoppy, and incredibly drinkable. The berry and mellon hop flavors are backed by a clean malt body from 2-row malt, oats, and carapils
Blast off!! Basically, the idea for this beer was to leave this planet. Ha! In order to do this we used the base beer for Beer Spaceship (our American Pale Ale), but used exclusively experimental hop HBC 517. This hops imparts great woodsy, stonefruit, and resinous qualities. If you didn’t already know, we like making beers that are sessionable. We wanted this beer to be under 5% and to feature HBC 517 in all it’s peachy, lime, woody goodness. With the low ABV we knew we needed a malt bill to fill out the body so the beer wasn’t too thin. The oats and carapils help give body and a nice subtle raw graininess to the beer. We hope you enjoy drinking lots of this to help in your journey to outerbeerspace!!
