Aged for 20 months in hand-selected 25-year-old bourbon barrels. With classic De Molen malt character, rich body, beautiful barrel notes.
In the summer of 2013, our dear friend Menno Olivier, owner and brewer of Brouwerij De Molen, visited Hill Farmstead and collaborated on an imperial stout, which was then aged for 20 months in hand-selected 25-year-old bourbon barrels. With classic De Molen malt character, rich body, beautiful barrel notes and appropriately light carbonation, this expresses beautifully what friendship and respect can contribute when creating a beer.
