A pale, golden Belgian-style ale with intense fruity/spicy aromas & subtle alcohol warmth. an homage to 1st Special Service Force, known as the Devil’s Brigade.
True to style, this is a pale, golden Belgian-style ale with intense fruity, spicy aromas and subtle alcohol warmth. It comes complete with a satanic reference (typical of traditional Belgian-style Golden Ales); in our case an homage to 1st Special Service Force, commonly known as the Devil’s Brigade, an elite Canadian-American commando unit formed during WWII. Despite its devilishly high ABV, it is deceptively quaffable.
