Beer Description
Our Wenona Wit is a light colored, cloudy Belgian style wheat beer. It is a light to medium bodied ale with a dense mousy head. This style dates back over 400 years and was resurrected by Pierre Celis at Hoegaarden. It has a slightly spicy aroma from the Belgian yeast and wheat with hints of citrus notes from the addition of coriander and sweet orange peel. Wenona Wit has an herbal spiciness with subtle citrus and tropical notes from the spices and hops (Zythos). Wenona Wit is refreshingly crisp and dry with a slight tart finish.
