Beer Description
We fermented Das Boot with an English ale yeast to provide additional complexity and to increase the malt character.
Das Boot is our non-traditional take on the classic German Oktoberfest Märzen-style lager. Copper colored and loaded with Vienna and Munich malts from Germany, this beer is laden with complex malt flavors but finishes remarkably dry; with a hint of barley and honey. Velvety and smooth, this refreshing ale will make you want to don a pair of lederhosen. Prost!
