A subtle smoke background from oak smoked wheat with strong citrus and grassy bitterness that plays well with the dry grainy wheat malt.
Not exactly a California Common — In fact this is a Common style of beer native to Cleveland. Uses Red Wheat grown in Ohio and malted by Haus Malts of Cleveland, wet hopped with Cascade and Columbus with hops pick the morning of the brew day from Grandpops Hops of Columbus. A subtle smoke background from oak smoked wheat. Strong citrus and grassy bitterness plays well with the dry grainy wheat malt.
