Beer Description
Grain bill pays homage to a bourbon mash. The addition of Brettanomyces clausenii during the barrel aging process imparts subtle tropical fruit character.
Thoroughbred was the first ever barrel aged beer to be produced by Urban Artifact and was first available on draft upon opening in April 2015. The concept of the beer starts with a grain bill paying homage to a bourbon mash designed to blend impeccably with the bourbon barrel character. The addition of Brettanomyces clausenii during the barrel aging process imparts subtle tropical fruit character including papaya and coconut.
