‘White Lodge + Black Lodge = Grey Lodge’.
When Dogfish Head Brewpub brewer Ben Potts mentioned on Facebook that he was going to brew a Black Lodge beer, Scoats told him that Twin Peaks was also the inspiration for the name of the Grey Lodge Pub. Ideas for ingredients went back and forth and it was decided to have both beers at the Grey Lodge for Philly Beer Week.
Dogfish Head Black Lodge features smoked malt (for the mill fire), coffee, pine (for Douglas firs) and more.
