Beer Description
The Bastarda Rossa is a red ale, which derives its name of the variety of the Monte Amiata chestnuts used, one of three types have been recognized for Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). The Bastarda Rossa is then produced using 6 different varieties of malt, 3 different types of hops and 20% (of fermentable) PGI chestnut Amiata. A key ingredient is revealed also the water, the aqueduct of the Fiora, very pure and light, because through long layers of porous rock of volcanic origin.
