Saison w/ Sauvignon Blanc Grapes, Social Kitchen and Brewery, San Francsico, CA “This is our fifth year making a Saison utilizing fresh pressed grape must sourced from our pals at Oro En Paz winery. This year’s features organic Sauvignon Blanc grapes from a small vineyard up in Lake County. This beer is absolutely bone dry, fluffy, and sparkling on the palate harnessing the spicy yeast qualities of a proper French style Saison. A touch of earthy hops lends a soft bitterness to balance out the fresh grape flavors. Notes of nectarine, berries, pineapple, and touch of almond dominate the palate in a very wine like way. The finish has a strong, almost tart, lingering acidity.”
