Fieldwork Jelly Packet

Inspiration for our beers can come from a litany of sources; sometimes from other beers, and other times from being hung-over at brunch and only being able to choke down toast with those tasty little packets of jelly that they leave on top of the table. With the impending summer hangovers inching closer and closer, we bring you the aptly titled Jelly Packet Tart Breakfast Ale. After spending the weekend partying hard and souring in our brew kettle we ship this beer off to its fermenter where it is greeted with loads of strawberries, orange marmalade, and Concord grapes. The resulting concoction starts off with a strawberry dominant flavor profile that gives way to a jovial mid-palate of the sugary orange peel, finally finishing with just enough of Concord grape so that you know it’s there, but it doesn’t take away from the only two flavors of jelly people actually use. Whether you are hung-over at 11am or working towards getting one at 11pm, Jelly Packet Tart Breakfast Ale is the perfect choice, toast or not.
