Beer Description
Hops – Hallertau
Yeast – Weihenstephan
A Bavarian-style hefeweizen, with just the smallest hint of banana, and a clove and citrus backbone. It is a hazy hay-colored hue, and the finish is clean. It is with Bohemian floor-malted grains in one of the last Czech Republic Bohemian-style malting plants; floor malting is an old world process of germinating and drying malts. This process is done by hand and takes 3 to 4 days longer than newer, more industrial methods, giving you a pronounced robust and traditional feel and taste. Simply put, this is a great summer beer. The Germans would say “fur den Sommer” which means “for summer.” Enjoy with friends, on a grassy hill, all day long.
