Dirty Yankee Grapefruit Ginger IPA
Brewed in honor of Devin’s third anniversary at the brewery! Pucker up for this dapper and dry grapefruit-ginger IPA celebrating the dirty (ginger) roots of a West Coast hippie in the South. Refreshingly playful, the bright and cheerful grapefruit pours sunshine over the haystack of hops this beer was lovingly stuffed with, before sliding away to leave your lips warm and tingly from the hunk of juicy ginger we tossed in the tank. Initially sassier than a pissed-off Uncle Joe, this beer will soon have you feeling mellower than summertime jazz in the park. Special Release. OG 1065, IBU 56, ABV 6.5%
Malt: Pilsen, Caramel, Special Roast, Wheat
Hops: Columbus, Cascade, Simcoe, Chinook
Additional Ingredients: Grapefruit Puree, Ginger
Yeast: Dunbar Wild
Descriptive Words: Hints of coriander, alfalfa, sour barrel,. Grapefruit and lemon on the nose; Astringent but smooth body like chiffon, this crackling silk will slip over your tongue like the Dirty Yankee it is; tart, fuzzy & tingly aftertaste.
