Pirogue. A Belgian Style Tripel brewed with Wood Burl Coffee.
At the mouth of the Great Miami River stood 12 stouthearted homesteaders in a pole-powered skiff called a pirogue. Thus began their historic 1796 ascent into the wild unknown. Through rolling chutes, they pushed. Through coiling eddies, they pushed. Through thickets of fog and snags of self-doubt, they pushed. They pushed, undaunted, until finally they came to that beautiful place where the river forks. Dayton. Our home.
