Beer Description
This batch of the 6.5% IPA was whirlpooled with Mosaic Incognito (a potent liquid hop concentrate from @Haas_Hops) and Mosaic T-90, then dry-hopped with Mosaic terpenes (aromatic hop compounds isolated by @GenusYeastLabs) and more Mosaic T-90.
Break My Balls has always been our deepest exploration of Mosaic — a famously kaleidoscopic Pacific Northwest varietal. Now we take that exploration even deeper. This batch of the 6.5% IPA was whirlpooled with Mosaic Incognito (a potent liquid hop concentrate from @Haas_Hops) and Mosaic T-90, then dry-hopped with Mosaic terpenes (aromatic hop compounds isolated by @GenusYeastLabs) and more Mosaic T-90.
These new hopping approaches push Mosaic towards the bright citrus and tropical fruit characteristics of its personality. Peach and apricot leap out of the glass, complimented by subtler notes of pineapple and berry.
All of this plays out across a pillowy canvas of English pale malt, flaked oats, and malted oats. Ooh baby.
