Old Diablo is one of our oldest recipes and is our American interpretation of an English Barley Wine. We stay true to the English roots utilizing Maris Otter, Biscuit and Caramel malts to create rich malt complexity. Alternatively, we used the brighter, bolder American hops Amarillo (citrus/grapefruit) and Centennial (citrus/pine) to balance the sweetness. It’s heavily-bodied with medium carbonation intended for sipping.
