Beer Description
Contains three barrel-aged Ommegang beers and one 12oz glass.
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Three Philosophers:
The Philosophers, our ambrosial Quadrupel brewed with Belgian Kriek, takes on new dimensions with bourbon barrel-ageing; adding notes of oak, vanilla, and bourbon to its malty backbone, which is already rich with hints of molasses, raisins, and cherries. 9.7% ABV.
Ginnepin Saision:
For our 20th anniversary we brewed a one-time-only version of Hennepin using botanicals typically found in gin, including Juniper berries, lemon zest, and lime zest. The resulting beer is still clearly a big, luscious saison, but with an all new botanical flavor and aroma profile. 7.7% ABV.
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Abbey Ale:
Abbey Ale brings depth and complexity, along with its mosaic of five exotic spices, to the world of bourbon barrel-ageing. Beneath the engaging new notes of vanilla, bourbon, and oak, there is deepened richness in both aroma and flavor, with hints of licorice, orange, and coriander. 9.5% ABV.
