Chocolaty, roasty stout with wood smoke aromas and underlying smoky flavors. Smoked malts make up two thirds of malt profile.
Smoked malts from Germany lend a mild smoky character to Smoked Stout, swirling around the chocolate, coffee and roasted aromas of the other malts. This smoky aspect stops short of being the dominant flavor note, offering instead a subdued, complementary twist to the classic flavors of the genre.
