Beer Description
It has hints of roast malt and caramel in the nose and is medium bodied with smooth malt flavors, followed by a touch of hop bitterness.
Our third flagship beer is “59’er”. Colorado’s gold rush was in 1859. The water ways in Arvada were created by the 59ers which lead to Arvada being a farming capital of Colorado. 59’er is a dark, German Lager, brewed in the Schwarzbier style. This beer will be very popular with drinkers of Porters and Stouts. It has slightly more roast notes then a Stout, but less than a Porter. This dark beer will ensure that drinkers of dark beers, will have a choice at our tasting room, and will ask for it by name at their local pub. 59’er has won more awards than any other beer we brew.
