Beer Description
Kette’s Pride is a porter aged in rye whiskey barrels that clocks in at 8.4 percent alcohol by volume. The name stems from the former Kette and Sons Whiskey Co., which operated on South Jefferson Street from 1909 to 1913. The building was destroyed by fire and with Prohibition looming, Kette opted to leave the whiskey business and open a candy store instead.
