Beer Description
“Coupage” simply means “blending,” referring to the traditional practice of marrying young beer with mature spontaneously fermented ale to capture the best qualities of each. Jester King’s interpretation blends fresh, dry-hopped farmhouse ale with SPON (mature, barrel-aged spontaneously fermented beer), allowing native microflora to transform the beer during extended conditioning. Expect notes of lemon, white peach, pear, fresh-cut hay, rustic grain, earthy Brett funk, and subtle oak, all carried by lively carbonation and a crisp, refreshingly dry finish. One of America’s finest examples of modern mixed-fermentation brewing inspired by classic Belgian tradition.
