Beer Description
Fresh-hopped XPA made with an absurd amount of whole cone, wet, Citra hops.
At 10 pounds of hops per barrel Citrafuge is quite literally packed with hops. We jam 200 pounds of large, wet, resinous Citra hops into our mash tun, kettle, whirlpool and fermenter to produce one of our favorite seasonal beers. Fresh-hopped or wet-hopped beers display a smoother, less pronounced bitterness. They also impart strong notes of grass, hay, or just plain “green-ness” to the beer.
