Beer Description
This recipe sticks pretty closely to tradition, resulting in a clean, crispy, malty, dark lager with a distinctly bready aroma.
Ask most folks to picture German beer, and they’ll likely imagine something yellow. Delicious and full-bodied, but yellow. Dunkel is just as German as those iconic lagers. In fact, it’s a lager too, but the addition of Munich malt brings out a rich, dark brown color. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
