Beer Description
Brewed in collaboration with Hitchcock Brewing Company – A deep mahogany brew whose color belies its smooth finish, “Darkness In The Valley” combines the artistry of the brewers from Hitchcock Brewing and Berkshire Brewing. Centennial, Simcoe, Mt. Hood and Cascade hops balance old school and new school flavors and aromatics for a pleasant burst of citrus and pine, with bitterness courtesy of locally grown Magnum hops from Four Star Farms. “Darkness In The Valley” uses Patagonia malt from Chile to give it a rich, caramel note and depth of flavor while eschewing the astringent roastiness of many dark beers, allowing the hop flavor and aroma to lead you to another pint.
