Beer Description
Ah, spring. It’s the season that breathes new life into our beautiful landscape and puts a hop in our step. It has also inspired artists of all mediums for centuries.
One such artist was Lida Rogers, a schoolteacher in our hometown more than 75 years ago. Caught up in spring fever, Lida proposed planting tulips throughout the city in celebration of Holland’s heritage. Her inspiration bloomed into a living work of art: Tulip Time. Today, Tulip Time is a world-class festival showcasing the Holland community as six million tulips blossom into an incredible homage to spring. Red Tulip Ale is a salute to the tulip, spring, and of course our dear Lida. A smooth and malty red ale, Red Tulip evokes spring’s renewing spirit.
