Scorched Earth Agent Goldbrew

Inspired by the craftsmanship of so many local coffee bean roasters, we created this unique concoction – a Golden Nitro Milk Stout – in collaboration with Tugboat Coffee’s operator and passionate bean roaster Erik Barkley. The second beer in our “Agent Nitro Stout” series, this beer is not the traditional stout featuring dark, roasted malt, but more a mind-game for the senses – - brewed with pale malt and lactose for added creaminess and body, some cocoa nibs in the whirlpool, and then finally infused with Tugboat’s single origin Sumatra coffee. It’s pale in color, but full of dark, roasted coffee and background notes of chocolate. Served on nitro and infused with lactose, this beer delivers the impression of a nice cup of cappuccino.
