Beer Description
In this Sour, you’ll find an exploration of locally-sourced ingredients created exclusively for our Secret Barrel Society members. We partnered with a few of our favorite farms to create a sour ale that is an authentic blend of ingredients from our home state. Our Belgian-inspired Lambic-style base beer, Basis, is aged on strawberries from Heartland Family Farm, blackberries from Wild Blackberry Farm and honey from Hunter’s Honey Farm. The result is a beer with a reddish hue, intense berry fruit flavors and a subtle hint of sweet honey.
