Beer Description
After the delicious success of The O’Hara Scarlet Rice English Ale, we were asked to create a brew featuring rice grown in Cross County Arkansas to be featured at Wynne’s annual Farm Fest. Happy to oblige, we made this light and refreshing “Best Bitter” to enjoy both out in the delta rice fields and sitting in the cool AC. Don’t be turned off by the style’s name, “bitter” is refers to the category of English ale and not the flavor of the beer! Limited Release. OG 1047, IBU 28, ABV 5%
Malt: Pilsen, Rice from Cross County, AR
Hops: Magnum, East Kent Gold
Yeast: British Ale
Food Pairings: Roast Chicken or Pork, Curry, Fish & Chips; Lancashire, Leicester, Edam & Feta Cheeses; Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
