Beer Description
Toasted Vanilla – Bitter Chocolate – Woodsy
The second installment from our “Forager Series”. An American Imperial Stout w/ locally foraged chanterelle & chaga mushrooms.
Boiled for 4 hours and brewed with Flaked Oats, Barley, Chocolate malt, and Maltodextrin this stout is thick in body, and plentiful in flavor. The chanterelle mushrooms added to the end of the boil add a incredibly unique fruity-earthy flavor. The chaga bark was boiled down into a tea and added to secondary fermentation. Chaga imparts a wonderful chocolate coffee flavor
