Beer Description

More robust and complex than your typical golden lager but still has that light body that makes for such easy drinking.

Traditionally, beers were brewed from late fall on into the spring. This beer was typically brewed in the March timeframe and subsequently set aside and stored until the fall for drinking. Was it a happy accident that this beer came to maturation at the same time as that famous beer festival in Munich? Who knows… either way, these two will forever be synonymous with each other. With regards to flavor, a Marzenbier is a little more robust and complex than your typical golden lager but still has that light body that makes for such easy drinking. We feel this beer emblematically identifies the seasonal shift to autumn and so we consider this to be a great fall/bonfire beer. Get ready to throw on your flannel, step outside and smell the season change.
