Interboro + Kane Special Counsel

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Kane Brewing Co., this beer was brewed primarily to be laid down in American Bourbon barrels and aged for a good long time. We did however reserve a small volume to be served fresh – and that’s what we have here. With a base of English Pale malt blended with roasted, kilned and stewed barley, with a touch of oats. Little hop character. Drinks easy with a dry finish. Flavors of dark fig and plum notes, vinous juice grapes, mild acrid bitterness, this beer will be perfect with braised or roasted meats, just in time for slow cooked roasts as the weather gets cold, and definitely perfect during or after a roast turkey meal surrounded by loved ones.
