Parasite Produktions Judicious

Judicious is a classic Belgian-style saison inspired by our recent travels to the homeland of the Farmhouse Ale / Saison ​—​ Wallonia, Belgium. Judicious pours a sunset of deep orange hue topped with a creamy white head carrying a complex bouquet of fruit salad and bubble gum esters coupled with spiciness from the wallonian yeast strain. Ripe fruits, pine and cannabis also feature thanks to judicious hop additions.
With an emphasis on drinkability and delicate balance, this medium-bodied beer was brewed to accent the natural fruity esters of the yeast strain and the fruity characteristics of the hops. To round out the juicy bouquet, we also added judicious amounts of fresh, seasonal clementines from the citrus fruit motherland, Valencia, Spain, which act as “salt and pepper” in the aroma profile imparting a subtle enhancement whilst retaining balance. Judicious is a very complex, balanced Saison which marries an array of ingredients and flavours to create a sublime drinking experience underscored by drinkability.
Tasting notes:
Judicious greets the tongue with a complexity of ripe stone and tropical fruits, bubble gum esters, citrus, and danky hops. These aromas are harmonized with hints of cloves and spices which evolve into a grapefruit like bitterness, helping to balance malt sweetness. Judicious is then rounded out by a thirst quenching tartness.
