Beer Description
We’re going ​big​ right off the bat in 2019 with our highly laced and flamboyantly hoppy, ‘Big in Berlin’ IPA. Coming in at 7% abv. and brewed with a blend of our favorite American and German hops – make no mistake – it’s big in Berlin – yep, that’s right. Japan can wait. For now.
‘Big in Berlin’ showcases our signature low specialty malt profile with a strong, yet balanced bitterness which provides a stage for our beloved headliner, hops! The German American hop blend delivers an unrestrained hop aroma – a big and devilishly danky IPA laced with citrus fruit aroma, cannabis, onions, garlic, herbs, and black pepper.
If this all sounds a little too absurd, remember that more than anything else, when it comes to beer, we’re all about drinkability. So yes, it’s big, it’s ludicrously hoppy, but not to the detriment of optimal ​smash​! Balance is important to us, and we like to drink IPAs – not sip them.
