Beer Description
Born from our love of Pilsners, this all day drinker is brewed from loads of Flaked Rice and Pils malt then hopped to the gills in the kettle with a combo of German Saphir and local Cascade hops. These local Cascades were supplied by our good Friend Adam of Sunny Brae Hops and tested uniquely low in alpha acid, 2.8% aa, so we used TONS of them and fermented the beer long and cool with our house ale yeast for a lager-like effect. Notes of fresh cut grass, hints of light grapefruit and nearly forgetting about IPA’s.
