Beer Description
Fermented w/ California Ale yeast to keep the ester profile subdued, and the Strata really jumps out of the glass because of it— think POG juice.
Admiral Maltings Pilsner, Feldblume, and WHEAT (their latest offering that we’re very excited about) are utilized in this single hop IPA. Lots to be excited about in this one in terms of raw materials. Strata is a new hop that’s bursting onto the scene and quickly approaching Mosaic/Citra status amongst brewers that have used it. We fermented with the ever so clean California Ale yeast to keep the ester profile subdued, and the Strata really jumps out of the glass because of it— think POG juice. The California Ale yeast fermented a lot of the available sugar so the beer is dry and crisp, but the wheat and Feldblume malt give the beer some mouthfeel and flavor to keep the substance levels in balance.
