Beer Description
Cherry wood smoked amber ale. Cherry wood smoke offers a twist on the hickory smoke flavors common to the American palate, lacks the phenolic aspect of Scottish peat smoked malt, and has more complexity than German malts smoked over beechwood. A subtle fruitiness accompanies smoky aromas and flavors, which lead to hints of caramel, spicy grains, and a note of cocoa in the finish. Hops play only a supporting role but lend balance to the beer’s finish.
