Beer Description
This light, easy-drinking ale is brewed with German Pilsener malt and American malt and spicy German hops, and fermented in the method of Kolsch, with a normal ale-temperature fermentation, followed by lagering the beer at cold temperatures to contribute crisp carbonation and bright clarity. The Bad Shepherd bent on this brew is the use of a neutral Belgian ale strain in place of the traditional German strain, resulting in a clean but complex profile.
