Beer Description
Brewed with buckwheat. Notes of pineapple are balanced out by a nice malty backbone.
A slightly tart Saison brewed with Pennsylvania buckwheat brought down from the folks at Free Will Brewing Co. (Bucks County, PA). We used a combination of our house yeast for the primary and the Free Will house for secondary to produce a nice hazy funk. This beer was fermented in stainless and dry hopped with Wai-Iti before Foedre aging for 8+ months. Notes of pineapple are balanced out by a nice malty backbone.
Created in partnership with Free Will as part of our Friendship Brew project. This series allows us to explore and create unique beers with our favorite (and super inspiring) brewery friends from around the country.
